Armed Forces Day at The Nest
Saturday 29th June, 10am – 3pm. Free for all.
On Saturday 29th June, The Nest is excited to host the Community Sports Foundation’s inaugural Armed Forces Day celebrations.
From 10am the Foundation invites the public to come to The Nest for an action-packed day of live music, sport and plenty of family friendly activities, including a youth football festival suitable for all ages.
At 11:30am the City of Norwich Pipe Band will lead a military parade of service personnel and veterans.
The Community Sports Foundation Armed Forces Advocate, Neil Hall, told us:
“We are extremely proud to be hosting this event for Norfolk’s Armed Forces Community. In celebrating service past and present, we hope to understand how the Foundation can support this proud community going forwards and build a legacy for the future.”
