The Norfolk Hire Arena: Stadium 3G

The floodlit, full-sized, state-of-the-art 3G pitch has seating around the perimeter for a hundred spectators and is overlooked by the Hub Cafe. There is also a PA and music system available.

The 3G pitch can accommodate 5v5, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 fixtures. Whether you are looking to book the pitch for training or a match day, we can accommodate your pitch hire needs. The pitch can be booked in full, by quarter or half.

The Lauren Hemp Community 3G Pitch

Our second, brand new 3G pitch is perfect for teams both local and visiting to train for or play their fixtures. The pitch is standing only and is located alongside our new coffee van, providing refreshments to visitors of The Nest.

Facilities

The Nest is the ideal venue for football training and hosting matches. Our site includes the following facilities:

  • Changing rooms – including disabled
  • Hub Café
  • Car park – up to 250 vehicles, including disabled parking
  • Toilets
  • Catering for match days
  • Floodlit (3G pitch)
  • Seating for around 100 spectators (3G pitch)
  • PA and music system (3G pitch)

Home to the Canaries

The Norfolk Hire Arena has been home to Norwich City Women FC, who compete in the Women’s National League Southeast Division.

What is a 3G pitch?

3G pitches, or also known as artificial or synthetic pitches, consist of plastic fibres combined with a rubber crumb infill.
