With support from the Greater Norwich Growth Board, construction is now underway for three brand-new Padel courts at The Nest – bringing one of the world’s fastest-growing sports right to the heart of our community.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, a seasoned player or simply looking for a fun new way to stay active, Padel at The Nest has been designed with you in mind.

What is Padel?

Padel is a sociable racquet sport that’s easy to learn and incredibly fun to play. Known for its inclusive nature, it’s perfect for all ages and abilities.

What to expect at The Nest

Construction on a vibrant and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy is well underway. Opening Summer 2026, you can look forward to:

  • Three brand-new courts – two covered and one outdoor court
  • Racquet hire available from The Store
  • Social and viewing spaces to prepare for your game, relax and connect with others
  • A family-friendly environment designed for fun, activity and wellbeing

A sport for everyone

Padel at The Nest will be more than just courts. It will be a space where everyone feels welcome. Our programme will include:

  • Coaching sessions for all abilities
  • Opportunity for all ages to learn to play from 5 – 105
  • Inclusive session for people with disabilities
  • Sessions that focus on supporting health, wellbeing and community connection
