Teams from across the country enjoy tournament at The Nest
The Nest was the venue for a three-day football tournament for youth teams, run by the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation this week.
Representative teams from Premier League and Football League clubs across the country enjoyed Canary Cup action on our grass & 3G pitches, while spectators enjoyed food and refreshments from our Cafe and a pop-up BBQ.
On the Monday, young pan-disability U16 teams from the Manchester United Foundation, Middlesbrough FC Foundation, Aston Villa Foundation, Arsenal in the Community, Wolves Foundation, Chelsea Foundation and The Albion Foundation joined the Foundation for the first day of tournament action.
Wednesday and Thursday saw U9-U12 development sides from QPR in the Community Trust, York City FC Foundation, Kettering Town FC, Colchester United Community Sports Trust, Shrewsbury Town in the Community and Norwich City Community Sports Foundation and Regional Development Programme compete for the silverware.
