Tele-tronics partnership brings technology to The Nest

A new partnership with Hellesdon-based Tele-tronics V&S Sales and Services Ltd has brought state-of-the-art audio-visual technology to The Nest and its new Hub building.

In the Inspire 1 space, which they have kindly sponsored, Tele-tronics have installed a stunning nine-screen 4K television and two linked supporting screens.

The room – which can be used as two single rooms or one large room – has also been fitted with a hearing loop system.

Among the participants who have already started to enjoy the new technology are children on wellbeing visits, scholars from the Foundation’s education programmes and youngsters from our kids’ courses.

Away from the suite, installations include screens in the reception area and I.T suite and an outdoor PA system, allowing music and announcements to be played onto the 3G pitch.

Tele-tronics are a local family-run business which provide the installation of audio-visual systems in both the domestic and commercial sectors, from installing TV and satellite systems through to home cinema and large commercial LED displays.

As partners of Norwich City Football Club too, the company have worked with the club on installing their equipment at the Lotus Training Centre, Carrow Road and the new Fan Hub in the city centre.

Mark Davis, the Managing Director at Tele-tronics, said:

“As a Regional Partner of Norwich City Football Club, we have been fortunate to be invited to various Foundation events which have provided us with an insight and opportunity to see the amazing work being carried out in the community.

“Looking around the new building and the excellent facilities that is now available it is clear to see how beneficial The Nest will be as a place to facilitate better wellbeing, general health and learning in the community. This is something post lockdown that so many people will need at this time and into the future.

“If we, as a small local business can help contribute to prolonging the work they do going forward, then we are proud to support The Nest by our sponsorship.”

Jackie Thornton, the Foundation’s Head of Development, said:

“We’re delighted to have our new Inspire space, supported by Tele-tronics.  Mark and his team have installed such amazing equipment, so visuals and sounds for all our classes and participants is top quality.

“As well as Foundation participants and groups that will benefit directly from the space, the income generated from private and corporate bookings will go back into our community work. We’re so grateful to the support of Tele-tronics.”
