Canada Women’s national team use The Nest’s training facilities

Canada Women’s national soccer team used The Nest as their training base in preparation for their Arnold Clark Cup clash against England at Carrow Road, last weekend.

The current Olympic champions – who are ranked 6th in FIFA’s national team rankings – used our grass pitches for a 90-minute training session, under the guidance of head coach Bev Priestman.

An individual session the following day on our Norfolk Hire Arena was also booked for one-to-one coaching.

Among the players who used our facilities were Janine Beckie, Kadeisha Buchanan, Jessie Fleming, Jordyn Huitema, Vanessa Gilles, Ashley Lawrence, and Sophie Schmidt.
